Civic: Philosopher King
i am trying out exzessivly the medieval-themed things atm.

But i cant really see a big benefit from this. Its the same with the aristrocatic. They feel to underperform. Or does someone have some great 'strategies' with them?

When i play the noble-themed civs, i try to focus on leaders and buff them as much as possible. But it seem this is not as profitable as it seem?

It isn't completely bad civic, it's just not so great. Universal slot for council is definitely a plus, still Meritocracy & Heroic Past & Oligarchy >>> better.

You should know that AFAIK (looked into save file) leader could get at max 4 negative traits. So to avoid it you need -4 negative traits from any source.

The Civic itself isn't that great, but the 3-30% councilor experience from the Lord Chancellor council position is pretty decent; one of the better council positions, imo.
