Playable without Paradox Launcher?

I've had nothing but headaches with the Paradox Launcher every. single. time. I've tried a paradox game to the point I've sworn off anything that requires it.

Is there a workaround that lets me play Stellaris without the PL?

just start the game from stellaris.exe, you can find it my browsing local files.

iirc the game won't load mods if you start it this way though.

No mods? Pity. Guess this'll be another paradox game I don't spend any time or money on then.

i imagine the mod manager for stellaris also bypasses the launcher if you really can't get the launcher to work.

Irony Mod Manager is the way to go... it is better than the vanilla launcher in every regard.

how does the launcher give you so many problems you're willing to skip out on the game entirely over it?

What processor and video card brand?
