One of my Friends Tried out the Fear of the Dark origin. And started on an Ocean world. But the Problem was. His AI Ally colony that spawned in the same system because of that origin. Started out on a Desert world. and he said they died off soon after. So This origin needs some Editing to keep the AI starting colony from dieing out. other wise. the story telling/Events are worthless.
2) When Using the new Civics. The Build Menu for ships is Completely Empty of ship types or other things to use. expect Weapon Platforms. You can't Dezign any thing.
3) When playing/using the Corperate Empire Type with their new Civic. And with Privet Prospecters Civic. You don't get the Private Colony ship.
A dev was on here earlier begging people to use the bug report on the website, but here we are,
https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/forums/stellaris-bug-reports.941/
There bug report website is way too slow for the number of bugs in this DLC. Their bug report system is designed for single bugs only. The bugs are numerous and all over the place. Their system is far too slow and inefficient for those of us who have things to do other than play Stellaris and submit bug reports all damned day. They want us to Beta test their game and submit official reports on their website? Then they should pay us instead of expecting us to pay them!
Bugs I've seen within just 3 hours of playtime I've had after work:
1. Broken Shackles: When you complete the archaeological dig site you get an event saying you will gain a decision to gain culture workers and that your primitive buildings will be upgraded for free as well as some other stuff... instead you get: absolutely nothing...
2. Broken Shackles: Parliamentary system factions get deleted and replaced by the factions created by Broken Shackles origin.
3. Broken Shackles: Industrial Districts do not grant building slots with Master Crafters civic.
4. The game tells you you have made first contact with MSI *before* you have completed first contact with MSI... kinda weird if this is intentional...
5. Stone Age civilizations (as well as other technologically backward primitives) you are observing can gain "Stellar Culture Shock" while simultaneously having the lowest possible awareness of you observing them.
6. Observing multiple primitive civilizations at once can result in you now no longer gaining ANY technological insights for the rest of the game. (Might be related the next point.)
7. The asteroid sighted event over a primitive civilization can result in you no longer gaining any insights for any primitive civilization for the rest of the game. (Might be from above instead.)
8. One primitive civilization who gains awareness of you through an event can result in all primitive civilizations you are observing throughout the entire galaxy also gaining awareness. (Might be specific to certain events but I was playing Ironman so can't really go back and check easily.)
9. First contact sounds play REPEATEDLY if you are observing primitive civilizations.
10. (Probably not a bug... it's just really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid or poorly thought out at best.) The cost of selling artifacts or gaining 500 unity is now greater than constructing the Empire Unique building that generates artifacts as well as galactic wonders that use artifacts as part of their construction.
And I'm almost sure I've seen others than this I just can't think of them ATM.
i think i have a reason for 1 and 2: one number one you should have space fauna as military ships yes, but because of the second civic you chose that gives subspace drives that forces the game to give you only "pre-FTL ships" with subspace modules (2 science, 1 construction and No Military) ... the reason that the second civic forces you to start without military ships might be the reason for no space fauna as military ships in the begining of the game.
Don't yell at me about it. They even locked a different thread earlier that was for people to talk about bugs.
Looked it up: The thread that was locked was by the same OP. https://steamcommunity.com/app/281990/discussions/0/3781373894328223235/
