Which Government type do you prefer?
For me, it's either Imperial or Democracy/Oligarchy with only one class of Leader.

Mostly so I don't have to micromanage my Leaders, and keeping 200+ influence in the bank simply to avert this problem just isn't worth it.

I prefer dictatorial and imperial, because I usually like to skill up high level leaders.

Dictatorial is my absolute favourite, and like the person above, there's a bit of RP in there. I'm not a fan of democratic political systems IRL, and really don't want to think of my empire, etc. as one of those.

Assuming hive minds arent allowed because there not a goverment.
Imperial for feudal empire perk and the fact i dont lose value people to the argueable meaningless possistion of ruler(rulers do nearly nothing gameplaywise)

From a roleplay point of view dictatorial because i like being in charge and believe leadership shoud be earned and not inherrited.

Democracy/Oligarch remove people from my valueable jobs like researcher and from a roleplay point of view i dont like risking my power(tho from time to time i like to play rise to power with the united nations, creating an ingame leader that is suppose to be me and get it to become the dictator of the united nations... it isnt easy to get rid of Fanatic Egalitarian ethics)

My favorite is hive mind(it just feels right)
I pretend i am a powerfull being from a different dimention that can only interact with this universe through my avatars aka the hive mind.

Oligarchy, obviously: simply choose leader with best set of bonuses and agenda every 20 years.

I prefer Oligarchy as well. It's provides the most flexibility in rulers when you need a change, and they also provide amazing bonuses based on their goal.

I feel the same, I got tired of having to sell and rebuild my mining/research stations to complete my campaign promises way back before 2.0 even Democracy no thank you lol, And with the cap on leaders gone I am no longer annoyed with losing a good researcher or admiral till next election

I almost exclusively play Imperial. I don't know why but I guess it just fits my playstyles/empires

Imperial, because of the imperial cult civic. Then getting the psionic ascension path, hopefully getting my leader to become the chosen one and finally ruling over the entire Galaxy as the supreme God-Emperor and putting those tiny Xeno-Maggots where they belong! :D

Blood Court.

Then you edit the save file to make the ruler have traits and an agenda which aren't complete ♥♥♥♥.
