Cordyceptic Drones not reviving space fauna
Hello everyone.

I tried out the new Cordyceptic Drone Hivemind and went to kill some amoebas to add to my fleet, but they didn't get resurrected. Is there something more to it than just killing them? Is there a chance to fail? Or ist it bugged? Happened to 3 amoeba fleets overall.
I killed them with a fleet of Corvettes and Frigattes if that matters. Do I need to kill them with my already existing 3 starting amoebas, so they get "taken over" or something?

A helpful explanation would be appreciated :)

Did a play-through with this during the Beta, it seemed to work fine for me. Don't matter what you kill them with. once dead they just get added to the fleet that killed them. As a side note they IMMEDIATELY get added to the fleet that killed them in the middle of the battle, which can really swing close fights with fauna. I guess its possible that they got killed, then swapped sides, then got killed again before end of fight, but in that very unlikely case the last one killed would still be present.

My fleet was capped at 40/40 at the time. Maybe that's why they just disappeared?

No (which is probably a bug) because I have gone far beyond fleet cap by killing space fauna. Not only that but will also add reanimated creatures to fleets which you can't add shjips to like "Bubbles", Derilict ships" and the dragon from "Here be dragons origin" (but bad idea since you will not be able to jump).

Do you use any mods ?

If not then maybe then it was not really space amoeba but mining drones or crystals which does not reanimate. I have done that a couple of times not looking careful enough assuming it was amoeba but was mining drone.

No, I don't use any mods. And I'm 100% certain it was amoebas, I saw "Space Amoeba Hunters" in the galaxy view as fleet name and I watched the fight happening because I wanted to see the new zombie model of said amoebas. But they died and vanished just like previously. So it was just a bug then.

Thank you for the answers, guys :)

They get auto added rather than you animate them. If they are not already added to your fleet that attacked then there is a bug.

The last updates have been buggy. The developers have been letting the bugs ravage the customer base but least they have the decency to fix them with time. At Least There's That !
