When you mod the game to have ridiculously overpowered things added to it, then the AI will have ridiculously overpowered things as well.
What would you say is "typical" for a normal fleet power stack for a normal difficulty (the difficulty one step above captain i think?) game? In the current patch of things I mean?
Scratch that, that's the Aetertum which is a late game optional crisis that guards multiple Megastructures, including the ridiculously overpowered Birch World that requires you opening up the Galactic Core via an option in your Situation Log. Although you did turn the difficulty up as it starts with them having around 20million fleet power on the lowest difficulty you can choose. These armies look like the 100m Fleet Power option, if not higher.
I'm also heavily confused how you managed to confuse them for a Fallen Empire since there's a whole chain of events that happens when you discover them in the Galactic Core. I'm guessing you skipped through all that text.
Althought at 24XX you should already have Planetcrafts that would easily smash that army, if not a Stellarcraft that would be close to double that fleetpower alone.
