The great Wound?

Just wanted to have thread about this very interesting system with many black holes. I surveyed and not much was told with research I did in it.
Anyone have any thoughts about it because it seems too unnatrual for many blacks holes to be in system. Collasped suns make balck Holes but that would mean that the great wound system had 11 suns.
I know there are systems with 3 or 4 smalls ones but 11 in one system thats too artificial to be natural.
What you guys thoughts or theories?

well you know the great wound is where something bad happened i dont really remember what it was

Armageddon weapon and a maniacal player on an earlier playthrough seems the most likely.

There's supposedly a singularity at the centre of the science nexus to act as a fuel source. Maybe a previous empire decided to go for a Science Victory, but when they realized they weren't playing Civ, they ragequit and all the Black Holes escaped in the meantime?

look I know that this was 3 years ago but its basically the Maw from star wars https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/The_Maw so they prob took inspiration from that

What's wrong with this? The system could originally have been a semi-normal cluster of eleven suns. And the game already has binary and trinary systems in it.

Yeah, yeah, I know, I was supposed to make up something science-fictioney. :)
