Transfer a Planet (not solar system)
So, I've ceded one planet in two planets system from another empire. An in the next war with that empire I liberated second planet in this system. Now I want to transfer control on first planet that belongs to me to liberated empire, but that plated doesn't show up in "Transfer System" menu. Is it a bug a or feature?

I noticed that too. I lifted up a race, they "love" so I wanted to give my holding in the system to them, but it won't let me. As far as I can see you can't cede partial systems, even if your ceding it to the race that holds the rest of the system. Seems like quite the oversite.

mighty necromancer, unless you've rolled back to a pre-2.0 version you cannot cede partial systems anymore. systems you want to cede in the current version also require that they be next to the empire you are giving them to.

How about a console command to give it to them?

you could always use a planet cracker on the probem planet . . .

You see, I'm playing STNH mod, the species joing the federation, which means they are now actually a vasal, which was my intent, but not all of their planets were retained by them. So I'm trying to get the remaining planets under their control.

Let's say you somehow find a way to cede that planet while still keeping control of the system. Because you still control the system's starbase, the game will automatically force that planet you gifted back under your control after a few days or so. Nullifying the transaction.

Before the 2.0 update, it was possible to have multiple star empires within any given system(likely how it'll happen in real life), but that meant that no one had control of the system and could actually build anything in it(outside of a planetary starbase).

Now it's just whoever first has control of the system gets all the planets in it.

Actually I do not control the starbase, they do

My post there was to the OP, unless everyone here posting about a planet transfer problem is excplicitly playing that mod.
