However, there are other ways to get trait points. Off the top of my head, one of the relics gives you +1 points, as well as the xeno-compatibility ascension perk.
So if you find the Omnicodex, you could consider Xeno-Compatibility and then make a super-species with all 3 advanced traits from Genetic Resequencing? Robust, Fertile, Erudite.
Haven't used bio ascension in ages, since it generally seems to be the worst - i think your leaders also don't get any bonuses unless their species has the Erudite trait.
Now i'm having a game where i somehow got pops from a Keepers of Knowledge FE (cyborg lithoids) very early on, and now also Racket (psionic). Which is super OP.
Not sure if bio ascension instead of psionic was the correct choice, since the cyborg trait apparently disables Erudite. Then again if you could get psionic cyborgs plus the other two bio ascension traits... hmmm
Ancient Caretakers Fallen empire have the Ancient Cryo-Chamber that gives +1 +1
i calculate a total of 16 points and 11 picks
The thread is almost half a decade old, though. We're talking "first Covid summer" old
