Difficulty
Hello, I am playing an ironman game but i forgot the difficulty I chose, i think it is admiral but not quite sure: is there an easy way to know which difficulty i am playing?

Afaik not from within the running game session. But if you get to the galaxy creation part of a new game the settings will still be locked to whatever you last set them to. So unless you changed the difficulty settings after starting your ironman game you should be able to see them there.

I know but I changed the settings so I need another way.. Thanks alot for answering anyway

I'm sure you can deduce it from the bonuses the AI is getting but it will take some calculating and investigating. Investigate a planet you have full visibility on, maybe stability. Not sure

Only way I can think of is to try and break the savegame open, which is not for the faint of heart.

I just checked you can look at the stability of an AI planet and it will tell you the difficulty level.

corect me if im wrong, but if you choose "new game",
then you can see all settings for your earlier game

This should work, unless you have started a new game and changed settings. By default, the game offers you the same settings you used to create your last game when you first ask to start a new one.
