Help! How can AI use the race I created ?

I have created a empire before and I want AI use it ,what should I do?
Someone tall me there is a "phoenix" button next to my empire, but I can't see it!
My screen resolution is just 1366*768!
In this way ,I try to change “user_empire_designs.txt” in my document.However, after I finished this job and start the game ,I can't even find the empire that I have created !
please help me as you can....Idon't know how to slove this problem...thanks

There is a bird button next to your custom race in the list of races, click on the bird button until you see a tiny 'lock' icon at the bottom right.

I also have 1366x768 at the moment, I can't see it either. Never new it was a feature until now.

The problem is the resolution, as you say... I had the same problem, but "playing" with the resolution i found one that was good for me.

About the txt... every time i do anything on it, my empires gone.

If you edit it in such a way that makes it no longer a legitimate choice then it won't show up. Restore the text back to what it was and it should show up again. You can tweak certain things in the file but other things are a no go.

Actually I just change 'spawn_enabled=' from 'no' to 'yes' , the question is when I found it can't works and turn this option back , it doesn;t show up again.....sad

Check the workshop, there is a mod that fixes this by making it visible on lower resolutions.

I flip to 1920, just go to that page and flip them on. Then change back to the lower resolution.

Not everyone can do that, there's still a lot of people on lower resolutions than 1400x1050.

I play on 1280x720 and didn't realize that was a feature either. Was wondering why the other pre-made empires weren't really showing up. Though I did see the Scyldaria one once.
