Where are the downloaded mod files stored?
What the title says. What is the file directory? I wanted to see which mods overlap and conflict with each other by looking at the files each mod have changed. I thought this way, it was better than turning the game off and turn on/off mods to find the incompatibility.

Looks like they should be in these folders...C:\Users\user-name\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Stellaris

There are a couple of places that they use it looks like. Workshop and MODS folders...and more maybe. Imposible at the moment to remove! *You can delete all you like...they will not go away! But, if you unsubscribe, they should no longer be active in-game.

Thank you. It looks like I can't view specific files. Mods are packed to one file with .mod extension. I guess there is no way to uncompress and see which spefic game files were changed?

And my current intention is not to delete and remove mods.

.mod files are literally just text files. Open them with notepad.
Because of Steamworks, downloaded mods are kept in the Steam userdata folders, whereas your own personal ones are still in the old mods folder in documents.

The path for the steamwork mods is
Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\281990\683230711

All of which are compressed archvives.
