Change empire flag color mid game
So I'm using a mod that gives more flag colors and I decided to go with white. Turns out, my empire color on the galaxy map is a freakishly bright white to the point that I have trouble reading some of the system names and I can't actually see where any of my sectors are.

before giving up and starting a new game, are there are any commands I can use or files I can edit to change the flag/empire color to something darker?

Thanks!

Don´t know if this still is of interest. But yes, you can change empire color in save games, i do it with notepad++ and 7-zip. I failed when i started a new empire, but really liked the spawning place, but made the big no no of having black as primary color. But i just changed it in notepad++ and created a new .sav file with 7-zip. Just like that, my primary color changed to purple, and my secondary became black, as intended from the beginning.

Hey, no probs! Sorry i didnt see it when you published it. But it seems like people had problems with this, and that no good answers has been given. I think quite a few Stellaris-players, especially new ones, comes up with this problem. I can just guess that many go for black, and end up with a black empire in black space. Perhaps it can help someone in the future, even if it was to late to help you.

So I tried doing this and it doesn't seem to stick. Where exactly did you happen to enter in the new code for color? I changed my "primary" color but it still looks the same when I load it.

Thanks,
