So I had that strange ass anomaly, and then , my science ship got teleported to a "extra damantional void" not knowing whats happened ,half the crew was missing, for me later to be gifted a science ship and my crew back from the unbidden?
PS:The science ship is like, hallow like their normal ships, thats bizzare isnt it?

I got that event as well on my previous save.
I called it the Penumbra.

For me it wasn't, it's just a normal bog standard ship, I sent it back to my space station and upgraded it with new sensors and engines and then it served me for years, until it got sucked into a gas giant and crushed like a tin can.

I haven't checked the files but I've had that event 5 or 6 times now and never had anything else happen after getting the ship. I've never seen the unbidden crisis trigger though, so something might happen at that point. There are a lot of events that take a long time to complete, sometimes you can go like 100 years between stages.

I had that event to, and 50 Years later the Swarm showed up, so if it is related to the unbidden it looks just like a teaser.
