Can someone explain to me on your starting original world how you build a planetry capital building? My energy credits are at 30 and minerals at 4, reputation at 4.

Population needs to get to at least 5 for plantry capital, then it will cost 250

On your homeworld you start with basic administration building. You can upgrade it once you hit 10 pops and have the tech required.

Don't know what you mean by reputation. Do you have the required influence?

I am even more confused now, the requirements all seem a bit vague and confusing to me.

Since there is no resource titled "reputation" I'll consider you are confusing this last one with influence. To construct a planetary capital, you'll need to have the necessary tech. Then, you can upgrade your planetary administration building to a planetary capital. But you will need some influence for that. If you can purchase the upgrade (have the tech), hovering over the option will tell you how much of what resources you need.

Yes I meant influence, but literally I can't see it anywhere, not in research, not when I click on the planet, not anywhere, I don't think the planetry administration exists for the main planet...

Yes it does. Unless you demolished yours. It starts built. It's the building that gives adjacency bonuses, so there should be arrows pointing outwards from it in the tiles around it. Should be hard to miss. If you managed to get rid of yours somehow, you can build another. But I think you'll need to build it a "colony ship shelter" first and upgrade from there.

Ah ok that makes sense I will take a look.

I conquered a native Race (non Space faring) and was able to start building the precursor to the Admin Building on the one of it's tiles. Just pick a tile and try to build something there, then look down the list of buildings that you can build until you find it. You are looking for "Reassmbled Ship Center" . It basically takes 180 days and produces 2 Food for no other cost to build.

Just remember to pick the "right" tile to build it on, basically you do not want any research site tiles to be covered up with non Research buildings, since research building get no adjancey effects from the Planetary Admin and Planetary Capial buildings, when you get them built. Also adjancey bonuses do NOT go off the edge of the planet surface map to opposite edges; so try not to build them on map edges.

Ok I found the administration building but it says no upgrades available??? Never get anything come up on research either for this building????

You have to research a tech to get Planetary Capital, and another tech to get Imperial Capital. Its a matter of waiting for the tech to come up in the (society/social/biology) track so you can research them.
