Console command to end a war?
Man the amount of bugs this game... One of my Federation members declared a war and I can't end it. Pressing the buttons on the negotiation screen doesn't do anything.

Is there a console command that can force peace?

sigh... he is the war leader of your side (the guy who attacked) and only HE and nobody else can end the war, are all planets that he wants occupied? is the enemy completly beaten down?
no? there is your reason
He wasn't just a member, he was the leader of the federation. Only the leaders can declare war. So they have full control over when they want the war to end.

@thatONEdude: Actually they are.

I also wonder why I can propose negotiation goals as a Federation Leader, with all buttons available and press-able when in reality only the guy who started the war can end it, that is really misleading

He should be on your exterminatus list
There is a command called:

peace_on_player

I tried that but it didn't really help. Any idea if this can do the trick? Do I have to have a specific screen open or something selected to make it work?
I think this list could help.

Pretty sure all the TODO commands won't work, so good luck.

Had a similar problem of a war lasting forever and no on could reach due to hyperlanes being blocked. I left the federation, and I'm still stuck in the war.
I had this issue with my ally. All the enemy planets were occupied and he would not end it. Go to the console commands. Use trial an error to take control of your ally and end the war yourself. 0 is the player, the ai goes from 1 to whatever number of enemies there are. The commands is play followed by the number. Just keep trying numbers until you are playing as the federation leader. End the war then type play 0 to return to playing as yourself.

there is more to the war then just capturing the planets, you also have to reach an acceptable war score for the game to care, for me, when npcs did it was about 75-100% always, even if it'd be much lower normally.
This is still a legitimate glitch. My warscore was 100%. When I tried to force peace it said only the attacker (my ai ally) could end it and said doing so required 1,000 warscore. When I switched to playing as my ally though I was able to end it immediately.
Well it has become even more ridiculous. The hostile player managed to reconquer one of the war goal planets which then, shortly after, turned into a new empire. (which is not part of the war) Now I'm stuck in a war with a 100% score and a war goal I can't take. lol

I guess I will have to try Apollysis advice and switch to my ally. I hope the newly formed empire didn't break it completely
