How do I add newly built ships into the fleet I want them in?
Besides the three corvettes I start with, I made 3 more and it automatically adds them to the existing fleet (1). I was able to split the fleet into 2 fleets but how do I add newly built corvettes into the fleet I want (1 or 2)?

I tried to create a new fleet but I could not find where to add ships to it.

I thought that if I disband a ship it would simply remove it from it's existing fleet so I could move it to another but apparently it completely destroys the ship.. Couldn't find the disbanded ships anywhere.

I tried Google and here but didn't find the answer I was looking for.. Any help would be greatly appreciated..

Thanks

Theres an option when you select an existing fleet to "create new fleet" or something along those lines. I believe its a little icon along the top left by the repair, merge etc buttons. But you basically use the "create new fleet" button one ship at a time to kick them out of your existing fleet. Then you shift+select the newly ejected ships along with the fleet you actually want them with and click "merge fleet". Its a bit cumbersome but works.

You can select the ships you want with "SHIFT + CLICK", and press "G" to merge them in one fleet.

If the ships you want are in a fleet, you need to remove them, like Trotwood said.
ANd now they are "alone" you can merge them (select by holding SHIFT, click them, release all keys, press G)

You can do this, using the right tab, "gestionnary" something like that (I don't know the english word)
