MSVCP100.dll & MSVCR100.dll missing errors

Your dll files may be screwy please uninstall, reinstall your microsoft visual c++ 2010 64 and 86 files and then restart your computer and not waste 12 straight hours trying to get it to work like me

This was effective at solving a dll error I had when trying to start up steam on a fresh install of win10 on a new ssd. :)

I ended up manually putting a copy of both .dll files in my steam folder and it works this way also.

I had the same problem. Basically I had to uninstall all versions of c++ and reinstall c++ 2010 for both x64 and x86. Problem solved.
In case it doesn't work you must find and delete the file "MSVCP100.dll" from C:/Windows/System32/ and then, reinstall the c++ 2010

The 2010 version is the only one that worked for me. I couldn't imagine I would need to go that far back until I read your comment. Thank you.
