Space Amoebas storyline
I know, you get a +5 % evation empire modifier for the more peaceful study from afar option. But what is the reward for the combat oriented way? just another minerals on kill policy, like you get for the crystals? Or something more usefull like the cloud striker from the viod clouds?

I dug through the file, but can't find the militarist line in it. May be i searched the wrong files?

It gives you the "Amoeba Extirpator" (extirpator = kill completely) empire modifier which makes your ships/stations do 20% more damage to amoebas.

I'll list where I found the information if you want to know, otherwise don't bother reading the rest of this.

\stellaris\events\story_events.txt lines 705-751 definition for final part of event chain

\stellaris\localisation\modifiers_2_l_english.yml lines 85-86 title and in-game description amoeba_extirpator modifier

\stellaris\localisation\events_2_l_english.yml line 822 in-game text for finishing the event chain and being militarist

\stellaris\common\static_modifiers\01_static_modifiers.txt line 346-348 definition of amoeba_extirpator modifier

Thanks, TheBird. I think, it is not as useful as the 5 % more evasion, as space amboebas get more and more insigifcant as the game goes on, but more evasion stays important.

Yay, I know its a bit minmaxing, to compare before deside, but there is no RP resoan with my actual empire pro or against a spefic way. ( I assume 20 % is good early on, as you don't need a sizeable fleet for aquiring more samples, but +5 % evasion lategame is still supior, hard to balance, short term against long term gain, longterm almost ever wins)

This post ought to be removed, even if the information was ever true it is not true at the moment, and is quite misleading.

"The agressive approach grants Flagellating Movement (+5% evasion to ships) after the first killed fleet. There is no more addition hunting quests. The fleet does not drop any salvageable technology. The peaceful approach on the other hand, nets you the Cosmic Ray Catalysis (+5% Energy Credits) instead."
