Can Vassal Integration go faster?
Is there any way to speed up vassal integration? The costs are getting ridiculous for vassals of size 3 systems or larger. My last vassalization cost 990 influence.... and would only go at the rate of 3 influence a month. Yep. 110 months to assimilate the little 4-colony empire. I should specify, the COST is fine - 990's fine with me, but the rate of expenditure is what's really giving me problems. Hell, I get 12 influence a turn, the only way I can run it dry is by mass edicting! *twiddles thumbs, manages minor disasters for an hour while the computer plods each turn along*

I'm in the endgame, I've won, my Federation owns the southern 3/5ths of the galaxy, but yipes this is a painful exercise in patience to hold steady and actually finish up. The only good thing about the AI sentient revolution crisis is that it gives me something to do while I'm waiting for these one at a time integrations, and breaks up the stupid AI countries that don't deal with them well, making it easier to integrate them when I get a chance.

Why don't you just conquer th rest of the galaxy, while it comes down? You can move freely trough Vassal's territory.

You get obedience problems if you don't share borders with your vassals. Your vassal's borders don't count as your borders, and neither do your ally's borders.

trench i think you missed the point, i know because i have the same probelm having to wait 320 months to integrate a vassal and you can only do 1 at a time is kinda annoying

Im pretty sure this can be changed via a mod , i might look into it later today

You can't without modding - and thank gods for that. Vassalizing empires is far too easy as is through war.

Whats the point of having a vassal!? I Defeated my first empire crushed them took some land and let them live in my territory for decades offered my protectorate etc became my vassal etc but i dont think they pay me any share of the resoucres that come in.. i just protect them? decades later after i let them go independant i went to war took their ♥♥♥♥ hole planet over and now get all the resources and dont have to see their ugly red colour mixed into my blue

They fight for you, and don't fight you - provided you stay stronger than them.

If Stellaris is like any other Paradox game you don't even need a proper mod, just edit the defines.lua.
Might be an issue in a multiplayer game though.

yeah I found one mod that made it go 2x faster though I would love to make it go even quicker

Hahaha complaining of 110 months.

Try 1800 for a 30 planet vassal.

Integration is what you do while you are conquering other systems. Keep your vassals fighting strong enemies so their fleets are kept in check.

I've only ever integrated single-planet populations that I gifted FTL tech to. They normally only take about 48 months after the ten-year protectorate period.

people saying they will just conquer planets dont seem to understand the war score system. I just conquered an empire with 50 planets, that would have taken forever if I tried to annex rather than vassalize.
