Bug: fleet leader assignment

I had two fleets, one was on tour around the galaxy and had a leader assigned to it. The second fleet back home didnt have a leader yet, so i bought a new one and wanted to assign that one to the fleet. I dont know which one i clicked the first time really, but afterwards the home fleet showed to have the leader of the away fleet. So i thought whatever and wanted to assign the new leader to the away fleet, which still also showed the old leader... anyway i just assigned the new guy to the away fleet. This caused the old leader to go back home.

In the end now, the old guy shows up in the fleet screen as the fleet leader, but in the leaders screen he is shown as available. I can't unassign him from the fleet in the fleet screen. This is all rather weird.

Its not exactly bothering me - im just making a proper bug report? You know, because its a bug?

Yeah, it's quite a common bug, I am experiencing it too.

Still a common bug, I have it like in every of my games. It is not possible for me to assign fleet leaders correctly.
That's gamebreaking. Cause I never know if my fleet has a leader now or doesn't.

So still no fix or official word concerning this bug?

Oh wow, this is something from may and it still isn't fixed? I thought I wait a while to play again because of the, in my eyes, quite gamebreaking bugs but they are still there it seems from your report.

Just happened to me , so even in Banks doesn't seem to be fixed.

What helped was to remove all but one corvette from the fleet of the stuck admiral.
With a one-ship-fleet the 'right-click' worked and I was able to unassign him.
