that's definitly true, but it was odd to me that I saw no risk/reward percentage like I would if I were analyzing an anomoly.
Just unlucky, I did the same research and got Titan monsters that are now a part of my Army .
Third option is then safely research the Titanic life without damaging it.
I had a problem that the chain never started in my latest game even when I had the planet. Not sure what MTTH it has.
Other events also have small chances for different results so it shouldnt be a surprise (like the coffe cup in space having good result instead of WHY WHY WHY)
EG: the walking forest, you can burn it back and get your tiles and a lump sum reward, or you can trade out a tile but get a constant bonus to research from it. in the forest case, the latter is far more rewarding.
