Resource Icons

I hit a hotkey that showed all resources in the galactic map without hovering over it. I must have hit it again because now I need to hover. How to I toggle this option?

Bottom right there is a menu bar, you want the left hand option, looks like a square. Sorry don't know what shortcut key.

When you are in the galexy map near the bottom right there is a orange box, if you check that the resources pop up, this option should be on by default imo.

Sorry to necro animate this thread, but what is the variable controlling the hide&show of resources icon on the galaxy map? Because even with detailed map mode off, there are just too many around...

When it hides them, it is specifically hiding ones that have mining or research stations. (As well as worlds with habitability too low for you to colonize.)
