How to bring up the situation log
I cannot find a keybinding or an interface button to open the situation log when i do not have any new events in the top bar. How do i open it?

Related: has anyone found a file in which keybindings can be configured?

situation log is upper left corner sort of looks like an options icon with check boxes. There's likely a key binding for it but have not used it yet myself.

The hotkey is F5

Isn't that F5? I thought it was F5, mentioned in the tutorial first thing...

Then again, the second thing in the tutorial was essentially "research THIS PARTICULAR ITEM" and I ... blew right past that, causing me to need to wait for a bit... so yeah, I'm just as guilty of not reading. PLUS I'm not 100% sure it's F5 (: I hit F5 quite a bit, though, and F6 (science!) so...

No, I haven't seen where to edit keys yet.

The game will even show the hotkey for you, if you hover the mouse over it.

I know, but it was still the first thread appearing on a Google search when I tried to find out how to bring the situation log. So it deserves to be stated that it's actually F2
