bottom left on the stellaris launcher, click the cog image and set to your size.
apparently the game doest work at all unless its actually set to your exact screen size, and the default size is just weird as hell at 600 x 1569 or some funky shizzle like that
although you have windows 10 .... im on windows 8.1 so maybe a windows 10 problem perhaps? :/
Ensure you're forcing your Nvidia card via the Nvidia Control Panel
Explicitly force it via the Nvidia Control Panel. Sometimes the game doesn't adhere to it if you set it to 'global default'
Otherwise try running the game in Windows compatibility mode
it says programs running on nvdia gpu Stellaris that is the first thing i checked because yes some games do not like my global default
Go to _CommonRedist
Reinstall DirectX
Reinstall DotNet
Reinstall vcredist
Yes you need to reinstall them even DirectX
Then reboot
Again REINSTALL THEM
DirectX can require version specific dlls to run that are specific to a game. That's why they're included with each game because they install an entirely different DLL
Reinstall ALL of them
Then reboot
