Stellaris NOVA Edition - RACE Missing?!?!

WHere is my Bonus race i was promised with the purchase of the NOVA Edition. Anyone else cant seem to find them either?

Clearly said - "Exclusive Alien Race (Cosmetic DLC)"
So yes just portrait. Given all the "races" at the start are just to show you what kind of things you can make yourself.

I bought the Nova Edition. I really wanted the extra music and can't find it anywhere....Anyone know why it doesn't show in the DLC options? Or rather where it should be showing up and how to get it in game?

Sure.Just look in your game library. Under games. Right click on the Stellaris title. Select options. Then open the view local files tab. Then navigate to dlc and then music.
You can copy the ringtones and what not to your phone. Email the ebook to your Kindle. Whatever. But the soundtrack I piled all in a folder (copies) on the desktop for easy access. You could copy them to a phone as well if you want. In other words. SOme soundtracks are stored in the music library, some aren't. You have to find them on your computer. Hope this helps.

That is literally how "races" work in Stellaris however. They're all completely cosmetic. Also if you're able to find any mods with animated racial portraits, go for it. But until then you need to stop complaining about information you had complete access to before you made a purchase.

I fully agree. I am also disappointed. They advertised like that:

Colonize the unknown and build a glorious spider empire! An exclusive alien race will be added to your game with a unique arachnid design. When your friends ask how you obtained these new spacefaring spiders, be sure to tell them you found the deal on the web.

I feel cheated after reading this.

I only like to share my opinion. I does not know the effect of my posting until now.
As a non native english person I had to look for the meaning of necro:

A necropost is a post on an "old, abandoned thread that has been considered 'dead' for a while...that no longer serves any purpose but is bumped back up to the top of the forums by someone posting in it." Necroposting is seen as a form of spam and clogs up the forums with old and unneeded topics.

The topic may be old, but it is not solved. I recently bought the Galaxy Edition especially to play this race and now i found out, it is not possible as advertised.

If you do not have the race you need to contact the developers. You might also want to check and see if it is not activated. It should be called Arachnid portrait pack under the DLC content manager in Steam.

They are not saying that they don't have the portrait, they are saying that from the advertisement they were expecting a custom empire based around a race using that portrait instead of just a portrait. In other words, they are saying that the advertisement is misleading, which is accurate - especially since the portrait in question is now unlocked for everyone for free, even those who do not buy the Nova Edition of the game.

Exatly that what I expected regarding this advertisment. A new race to play with their buildings and ships and not only a picture.

It is all correct activated. I have the portrait, music and docs, but there is not a new race (Archanoids) to choose.
