will this game run on intel hd 4000 integrated cards?

im not much of a PC gamer, EXCEPT for strategy games and old school games i was raised on

just saw this game and it looks pretty cool- will my laptop be able to run it though? I travel a lot and dont plan on getting a PC because i really dont need one

Maybe... The Intel HD 4000 is comparable to a GeForce GT 520M, or maybe a 610M. Depends. What's the rest of your computer like?
CPU? i3, i5, i7? Older? How many cores and ghz?
Do you also have at least 4Go of Ram?

Depending on your answers, you may be able to run the game. The most important thing is the CPU though, so we can't know without that information.

so i guess i cant run it- it passed all the tests except for 1gb video ram...im not a techie so i dont know wtf that means- but i guess ill buy this later on down the road. looks really cool though!

You should be okay, but your graphic card won't be supported so if you run into a problem, you're on your own.
What you can do, though, is test it and see how it runs. As long as you play no more than 1h59m59s, you can ask for a refund from Steam, no questions asked.

So... go ahead and test it. But I think you'll be fine. (Just, maybe, try and not zoom in when there's too much action going on. Your graphic card might not be able to handle that.)

Not sure about this game, but i was able to run XCOM 2 on my HD 4000 laptop w a SSD drive 8 gigs of ram. it was a little choppy at times but since XCOM is all turn based that's quite ok. If this is like that one and mostly all turn based or no fast response type action then you should be ok running this one too. I'll be getting it soon and I can say for sure.

I'm currently running the game on a laptop with HD 4000. It runs fine, though in fast mode, the day counter goes slowly if I'm displaying too much on the galactic view.

I can run it on my i5, HD 4000 laptop. I've only tried it with a tiny map and played the first few hours of a campaign, so am not sure how it might hold up under stress during the late game.
