So it's 39.99 USD right?
Why is it 43.99 CAD?

39.99 USD = 50.69 CAD

I just bought the game from another site (taking a risk) because it had 25% off, so it was 39.99 USD to 29.99 USD, which is 38 CAD, saving me a few dollars (Assuming the site doesn't charge me some hidden tax fees or something).

Never realized the price diffeences steam has been doing, not that I am complaining as the CAD is utter trash and won't be recovering much for some time, especially with our moron government. Cheaper vidya is a-ok with me.

Yeah I know they do different pricing for different regions, that's why some sites like G2@ buy keys in cheap regions and sell them to other regions. (I don't buy from them nor do I trust them even tho every streamer and youtuber out there is sponsered by them).

Just didin't know Canada had any difference, thought we would be the same as the USA just like most of our stuff unfortunatly is, everything is absurdly expensive here.

And I checked what they charged me, they charged me 39 dollars instead of 38 as it should have been. Almost 5 dollars cheaper than steam's current price for the game. Just hope they don't screw me over, I have heard a few people complain about issues with this site, but alot more have said they never had issue.

Now I just need to worry about how Paradox might be doing their dlcs.

Look at the difference in price regards to USD and RUB (Russia). It's based on economies.

In Sweden the prise is 39.99 EUR (Steam don´t deal much in SEK). so for us it´s even higher.

These extra digital goodies are starting to get a tad on the expensive side these days with games you can pre-order.. Just hoping that thier DLC's wont be over priced, becuase if they are.. I will be waiting for atleast a 50% off sale before I buy them.

"Overpriced" if you mean that 15-20$ is overpriced then they most assuredly will be. But to most of the community, it's fine.
And cosmetic stuff isn't really necessary - so i'm fairly damned fine with the Pre Order DLC really.

Yeah I am pretty happy with it myself even tho I thinks slighty over priced when converted to AUD with the galaxy edition. Would have liked to be no more then $70 - $75aud but meh...

Looks well worth the price with everything included. If there where no cosmetic items in with it.. I probably would have waited for a better deal down the road a bit.

It plummeted because our exports are rubbish and the whole thing with that pipeline being canclled, and probably more, im no expert.

I don't see this country improving for the next 4 years. Hopefully someone competent and honest runs for PM next time, and we can get Treadu out ASAP, I feel like hes going to be more damaging than Harper. The guy is more concerned with spending all the governments money on fighting "sexist gamers" and bringing islamic rapefugees over, paying everything for them, and giving them a better life and more money than the average canadian citizen has.

Can we please stay away from the economy conversation?

I've heard you can buy the game cheaper from certain sites (e.g. apparently the paradox site had a sale) for cheaper. However, my concern is do you get licensing in the same manner from some of these sites? One of the reasons why I love steam is because if I decide to come back to a game on a completely different computer in the future, I can just download the game all over again...
