Auto Complete-Ship / Bug !!!
I may think something is wrong here.

When i auto design my corvette auto max everything upp and work nice. But when i doit on Construction/ Science / Transport Ship then this Auto / Complete Ship do not work.

Exsample : I got 3 emty spot on my Science ship - I click - Clear design and now i got 3 emty spot. Nex i click Auto- Complete Ship and this auto add only 1 item whit name " Small Fission Reactor
So whay do not Auto add 1 more Fission Reactor and 1 Deflector ?
My Small fission reactor Gives 10 power / My Deflector use 5 Power.

Ok so i wanne try this way : I add 1 small Deflector + 2 Small Fission Reactor and now i got +2 power. Now everything is ok when i doit by my self.
Then i click Auto- Complete Ship and now this auto take away 1 small fission reactor and 1 small deflector.

The same happend when i try to use Auto-complete ship on Construction Ship/ Transport Ship.

Is this a bug or do i missing something here ?

Non combat ships won't be given modules other then power, I don't know if it's a bug or intended.

I know that and as i remember i talk about armour and power like Reflector and Reactor : This 1 you can only place out on utility slot and when i do that whit " Auto Complete-Ship " it do not work.

Do this work for you ? And if this not work for you eigther maybe this is a bug or the devl forgot to look into it or maybe i doing some wrong here.

I do not know, so thats whay i make this post.

Basicly if we can use" Auto " then auto need to work on everyting and not only combat ship because they got weapon slot if you catching my point.

You don't want it because if it get's in a fight it will lose anyway and this way it takes longer to produce and cost more resources and you get nothing in return thats why the slots are empty except the one for 1 power generator thats strong enough.

Like i say and i can say it agen : If we can use " Auto " on this type of different ship then Auto should work.
If " Auto " are only for batle ship then the devl should take it away from al other ship, is that so hard to understand !

Whay do the devl give us opportunity to use auto when it do not work on every other ship and only on batle ship?
Eigther they need to take it away from al other ship and this way we can only use auto on only batle ship or the need to fix this and this way auto work on everyting.

This bug or faliur make me confused and by the way do you know what Evasion is , i may think no.
That is the reason we can place armour and power on utility slott on Construction / Science/Coloney/Transport Ship.

Stuff need to work dude and if stuff do not work then just take it away.Basicly, whay keep stuff in the game who not work and make people confused because of this and that.....

It depends on your definition of "how it should work". Or, on what is a good loadout for a science ship.

If the costs of adding a module (minerals, upkeep and build time) aren't offset by the benefits of it, then not-adding it is the right choice. If "auto" adds components that people remove more-often-than-not, then it's not "working".

In your definition, adding shields/etc. on non-combat ships is a good thing. Not everyone agrees.

Al will not !!! DID AI MAKE THIS GAME THIS WAY OR ? Wake upp and take a long break from gaiming bud or do some other stuff.

By the way now i know this is not a bug but a mechanical error , and ty for the info ,-)

Yeah the Auto design button works, it'l replace sensors and thrusters with the latest one's on non combat ships.
So it does automatically design ships for you.
If you want to make manual changes stop pressing auto design after you have made your changes, obviously.

To you, it doesn't matter.

To others, a function that automatically, deliberately designed something terrible is a dumb idea. If there's a conflict between the two goals, then I'd say "usable" is a lower good than "consistent."

You disagree on a design decision. That's your right.
But it makes it neither a bug nor an error.

I talking about deflector and reactor , not sensor and thruster. And i do not wanne do manual here when i can use auto, do that make any sense !

Yes, you want the system to auto-design crappy ships for every player in the game, so that you don't have to manually make them for yourself. :P

You cannot use auto because the autodesign doesnt put combat modules on a non combat ship, because that would be dumb as hell, which even the idiot autodesign button wont do.
You will just have to spend 10 - 15 seconds making your own expensiive inefficant design that has no benifits to it.
