Clever System Names
What are some of the clever/funny system names you have seen? Ex: In my campaign I found Omicron Persei, a refrence to Omicron Persei 8 from Futurama. What are some others you guys have found?

Oh. Oh no. I thought this just a cool little Futurama refrence due the shows heavy space themes. Now I just feel stupid. THANKS OBAMA!

Yeah, Futurama and Dune series are classic names. Arrakis, Caladan, Giedi Prima and such for planets, systems vary here.. as an ancient CK2 player, when I run out of ideas, I go back in history and choose any name from indoeuropean languages or colonial names (northamerican mostly).

I also use a lot in-game names for planets, systems and sectors.. not with democracy implemented, obviously :) So sad there are no stats, where I could see all my previous leaders, scientists or admirals..

Is there any way to restore the original start of the game system names? I have managed to blank out about 20-25 % of the star names in my territory. This includes systems empty of any development, colonized systems, and resource station systems. I think that sometimes when I was trying to hit the button on a system map to return to the galaxy map, I must have hit the system name button right next (to the left) to it and then somehow blanked the system name out while trying to get back to the galaxy map. I am about 65 years into my current game. All of the planets just show a number I, II, III etc or a name if colonized in the affected systems, and the Star name is an empty box.

Might not want to hear my suggestion...But, here goes..reload a save? Maybe go back a few years and see if they come back up. Might not want to back up, if you have gotten a lot. But, it's the only thing I could think of..Good Luck!

Oh,

In multiplayer, this is usually a laugh or troll fest when players loves to change system/planet names under numerous circumstances.
