How To Use Stored Research Points

How do i use up my stored research points i gathered from some anamoly quest chains, i have 863 Society Research banked, how can i spend it?

They're used automatically, doubling your research rate - if you're producing 21 society research per month, 21 of the stored research will also be 'spent'.

Thank you, problem solved. So i'm technically not missing out on anything all your research points can be stored lets say i forget to click a research task. :) awesome.

Yep, that's why those special projects that stop research in a field aren't really bad. The points that would be going to research just get stored instead. So if you've got a tech that would take 12 months to research, and you do a 6 month special project, the tech will still be done in 12 as the latter 6 months would be done at double time from stored tech.

Only way it even slows down your research is if the research job will take less than twice the time of the special project.
