Purge displacement still purge?
I captured Star system with enemy planet. As I don't want a multicultural empire in this save, I set displacement for them. And all known Empires don't lke this. Even empires with Extra-military culture. Wtf? You can capture everything what you want but you can't manage your own territory as you want? I guessed displacement is soft purge for no-troubles with other empires. There is no difference between displacement and extermination?

Clarify me please and many thanks in advance

There's a current bug causing "Displacement" purges to not work as intended, and instead of slowly pushing affected pops out of the empire, it rapidly exterminates them, complete with all the opinion penalties from other empires associated with "Extermination" purges. According to its patchnotes, the 2.2.6 beta should have a fix for this issue.

Who cares what they think, if you just wanted the planet but not their pops just kill em off, then kill the nay sayers.

If you decided to commit an act of genocide and war just commit to it, how do you think hitler got so far? he dident stop halfway to think "am I hurting their feelings?"

plus its a video game, so your not actually invading a planet and killing the native population.

What are you talking about?
I have an ally in my back and have no protection from his Empire because we have a good relations. But after this he prepares to attack my territories. And this reason why I care about this

Can confirm that in the latest 2.2.6, they've restored individual purge speeds instead of everything defaulting to Extermination. Haven't checked to see if Displacement no longer gives the Genocidal opinion modifier (if I'm not FP, I'm enslaving, not purging! Pops for the Pop throne!), but it seems likely.
