War In Heaven as Leader of Non-Aligned Powers
So its been a while since I've been in this situation. The war in heaven started a bit earlier than usual, and I'm in the crossroads. Both fallen empires have started the war in heaven and are fighting each other and I am at peace for the moment. As leader of the League I was wondering if I am supposed to be the initiator or are they going to declare on me. Also if i just let them kill each other will the league disband after too long in peace?

I am in good position as leader, far away from both, i'm surrounded by loyal vassals and most galaxy members joined me, with the strongest two members siding with one fallen empire making up a total of about 5 members on one side and for the other FE one dude joined them.

I have the ability to declare war on one or the other it seems, so I could gang up on the closest FE who also happens to be the one with most allies. Or tag team the weaker one.

I am in a energy credit deficit of about -400 and 130k stored. Chosen Galactic Contender, and changed the focus on the galaxy for an extra 20% more damage to them.

Thoughts? Tips?

Sounds like all you can do is build up your fleets and and tech up since you're not in a position to take either of them on.

Well you have an opportunity for the achievement.
Last, Best Hope
Lead the non-aligned powers to victory against an Awakened Empire
Which according to the description you just need to beat one or the other.
However you may want to poke around with a search and find more info.

If you wait, they will declare war. You need to defeat both of them.
