Art Monuments disappearing?

Hey,

so a while ago I bought a few Art Monuments from the Artist Enclave and placed them on my worlds. After a while all of these monuments where gone though - no warning at all was given, they just had disappeared. When I talked to the enclave again they said that they couldn't make more.

I never was under the impression that these monuments were only temporary, there wasn't a single hint about that. Anyone else having similar experiences?

yea i brought one and placed it brought 2 more and i could not place the other 2, never went to look if the first art was still around i got ate by the swarm

They go away (still available to build elsewhere) if you give a planet to a sector, is that what happened?

I brought it for 1k mins placed it, then they came back around asked me to buy another one, i brought it lost the mins, then i could not place it (said i had to buy one.) then brought another one at my initiation and could not place it, said I had none and I needed to buy one.) i quit buying them at this point and died to the prethoryn invaders. Although the art station died before I did so I had that going for me.

nope no sectors was involved, all this was in my directly conrolled worlds.

I had them on my core worlds too, so not a sector thing. Hum ... weird. Especially as the festival for example explicitly tells you that it lasts a set number of months.

I've got like 5 in my current game... they are not disappearing. They are not in sectors either.

Yeah, I think there may be a limit to how many you can buy and place, ever. After two, I can still initiate the dialogue and spend minerals to buy more, but I can't place what I allegedly bought. The minerals get deducted but the option to buy a monument stays greyed out.

Yeah, I think my head of marketing may have to pay them a visit in that refurbished Dreadnought I picked up.

A few kilotons of explosives should solve out differences quite nicely, and maybe they'll make like a pinata and spew up some loot, given that they won't boost my happiness for me.

I wonder what kind of stuff they have squirreled away from their earlier victims. :D
