Self managing sector?
Is there a way to make sectors work like before where you dont have to worry about them and they self govern? I have 18 planets in this game im doing and its soooo much work to maintain that it actualy kinda prevent me from playing the game cause im ALWAYS scrolling down in my planet to build ♥♥♥♥.

In 2.2 you go to the Sector Management Screen and give them a focus so you don't need to micromanage them. And in the info bar on the right, click settings and turn off viewing sectors with a focus. Now you won't need to scroll through them all and they will build on their own.

Does it actually work though? I left some sectors on auto manage, and then after some years started getting unrest messages, took a look at them, and they had done nothing but overpopulate and not build anything at all. Had to go in and manually fix them. Maybe there is an issue where they have to have all of all of the resources, I don't know, and I dpn't know how you can fix that since you can't adjust the sector boundries. But it did not appear to work at all.

Not sure. I never ran into that issue. I very early on gave any sector with 2 or more planets a focus and transferred some resources in the sector management screen. Ocassionally went back to give them some more if they needed it. And never had any issues with them not building or creating unrest.

It was the same thing for me. I tried giving my sector a focus, say, balanced economy or whatever. Then i looked back a few years later and nothing was getting constructed.

I HATE automatic sectors, any mod to enable editing sectors again so I can add the systems I WANT to them?

I am not sure, but I think you have to give them resources (minerals and energy) to build and remove blockers, as there is no option about the "taxation" as before, they do not have any income to spend.

yeah, you must make sure you give them resources or they do nothing. you can use minirals or energy and it converts to points for them at a 1:1 rate. they use those points to build stuff. you can not get those points back so don't give them tooo many. 2k each should be enough if u check on them.

what bothers me is you can't set individual planets to what u want. and so resources is for the whole sector even if some planets are no good for resources while others are amazing you can't set 2 planets in the same secotor to different things.

I just ended up reverting my game to an earlier version before 2.2 so I can get sector management back. Which means I have to start a new game but I hate the sector system in 2.2 with a burning passion, I'd rather start a new game than continue the game I've got now.

If the ai isn't doing anything with their sectors, get the glavious ai mod from the workshop, it fixes it and most if not all other ai problems
