Invincible battleship - it got worse

On multiple playthroughts last week the Military Isolationist fallen empire ended up with an invincible battleship.

The ship cannot be engaged. I can move my fleet away from the combat like it is not engaged. But my AI allies are not that smart. The invincible battleship below chewed through 2M worth alliance assets. The only way to get rid of this ship was to conquer all planets of the fallen empire.

This ship moves from one star system to the next but remains invincible.
Engaging it somewhere else doesn't improve the situation.

Did you try simply reloading instead of staring at it destroying all your fleets...

If this issue persists past a save/reload, please submit a bug report.[forum.paradoxplaza.com] Or if you have reproduction steps on how to make an invincible Fallen Empire battleship.

Welcome to a known bug that has been in the game since it was launched.

We're still trying to track down the root cause of this, yes. We plan on including more diagnostic tools in 3.4 "Cepheus" to help players provide more information on hard to reproduce issues such as the invincible fleet bug.
