End game crisis spawned way to early?
I got no mods.
I started the game with the newest patch.
I play iron man
One fallen empire awakened (I killed them right afterwards to avoid war in heaven.)

I set the end game at 2350 (and * 25 crisis strength.)
I choose contingency to spawn.

The year is now 2370 and contingency has spawned right within my borders, with a starbase.

I expected them to come around 2350 plus 50 years, so 2400.

From wiki I find this information:
"Endgame crises have a chance to trigger every 5 years once 50 years have passed since the end-game year."

and

" If the Crisis Type game setting has been set to a specific crisis then that crisis alone can appear, with a 20% chance to spawn every 5 years."

So either I was bugged, or the last wiki section I quoted means that the 20% chance begins from the actual end game year, and not from 50 years after end game passed.

Anyone can shed some light on it?

Wiki is outdated in some areas, you may be able to go look at the actual txt files that reference the code for spawning it, and then go off that
Crises can spawn as soon as endgame date is hit if some conditions are met. If someone has Jump Drive (or that one GalCom Resolution) for the Unbidden, or every crisis if there are no fallen empires (or War in Heaven has already happened and been resolved).

(or War in Heaven has already happened and been resolved).

or if War in Heaven has already been determined to not be happening this playthrough iirc. (ie. WiH is prevented by the no_war_in_heaven flag)
That was removed in 3.X, they spawn any time after the end game year.
Having an end year 50 years sooner and x25 crisis strength is sure to overwhelm you.
I'm not surprised it did.
Too soon! You have awakened me too soon, Executus!
:D
Too fast, too soon
