oh right. i cancelled but it ruined anyway for some reason. should i leave my unemployed pops there so it eventually becomes repairable?
And the losable sources would be a civic or urban districts.
But you should investigate how many building slots you should have.
how do i investigate that?
no. i definitely cancelled them. i know i did because i cancelled them straight after "queuing" them... when i realised housing adds amenities.
Either way, you can check how many building slots you should have through this console command:
It'll store the number of extra building slots in a variable (and print it into the console). The 1 free default building slot is not included, which means the actual number of building slots on the planet is the variable + 1, so anything above 15 is over cap.
what is the "approx. job production +16? is it not amenities? its the same symbol as the amenities symbol...

Or if you meant "housing" as in "Nexus District", then I misunderstood you, I assumed you meant from the literal housing that the district provides.
