Machine World Habitability and terraforming.
I have come across and invaded a few machine worlds, but it seems like they have 0% habitability for my species. So I am in the process of terraforming them which will take around 7000 days. (RIP)

Anyway, it says on the continental world that I am terraforming into 0% habitability as well. Will the end product also have 0% habitability?

Just worried I might end up with worlds I can not use. Anyone better informed than me?

The planet screen shows the habitability according to your founder species.
Are you playing clones?

If you're Ringworld or Gaia start, then your only options are ringworlds, habitats, and gaia worlds.

I have two species in my empire. Both human. One minority who prefers gaia, the other continental. I will be have to be patient and see if the machine world turns into a habitable continental world for my continental pops.

I am just a bit worried that it still says 0% habitability on the terrforming world. Maybe the game thinks that my gaia pops are my main pops? Though other worlds show different.

Machine worlds have 0% habitability to all non-robots, same to hive worlds having 0% habitability to all non-hiveminded pops.

Terraforming should be able to change this but to be sure I would just save the game and use a console command to instantly terraform to double-check.

Thanks for the answer, I will wait and see, and report back. In a few years..

When you started the Terraforming process it should of told you what your future habitability is before you accepted.
The planet will continue to show 0% habitability until Terraforming is complete.

With enough tech level you choose what to change to.

That is the problem, the future habitability said 0%. But it may just be a bug. I will report back once terraforming is done.

Ok, reporting back. Now it says 100% habitability. Might be a UI bug then.
