Can I somehow give territory I have conquered to another AI?

I conquered territory from AI A, and I want to give it to AI B, who is half way across the galaxy away from me. Can I do it somehow? I want AI B to survive, but they will not last much longer.

In order to transfer a system, they need to be at peace, and have a claim on the system you want to give them, or having a system adjacent to the system you want to give them.

If they're friendly with you and currently being actively destroyed, that seems unlikely. (unless they're being attacked by the crisis). If it was a crisis attacking them, you could tag switch to their country, make the claim, and tag back to your country, and give them the system. (Providing you're not playing iron man).

Alright, neat, thank you for the advice. Right now both of us are in a pretty complicated political situation. I declared war on a faction that had a defensive pact with faction B, but I won that war, so now we are in a truce.

Don't want to switch and claim, though. I will try to give them a ton of resources instead and see if they can survive.

So, I found a soloution, perhaps. It appears that one of my neighbors has a wormhole leading to a region very close to faction B. I will declare war on that neighbor, take their territory, and boom and behold, I will be neighbor with the species I want to save.
