L-Cluster no longer exists in my games.
Where is the L-Cluster? Where are my gates? All DLC is enabled, game files have been validated. L-CLUSTER NO LONGER APPEARS TO EXIST IN MY GALAXIES. Help please? :D

okay some quick questions due to a lack of details

A do you have mods enabled if so what are they
B do you have your gateway spawn chance turned off in the pregame setup
C if either of the above arent the problem have you tried an uninstall/reinstall and/or a verify cache

I have no mods of any kind, only official DLC. "Abandoned Gateways" set to 1x in pregame setup after faction selection. Game files were verified in steam properties an hour ago, and I reinstalled only a week ago.

For that matter... there do not appear to be any gateways of any kind, L-Cluster gates or otherwise. I have not changed anything about my pregame setup, I've always played the same, but gates and L-Cluster no longer spawn even though all DLC is active and files are validated.

Crank it up to max to see if the problem continues, i had gateways set to 0 and still managed to get Lgates for 8 game tests. What size galaxy are you playing on?

Also if you aren't i suggest using console commands to build yourself a max sentry array to easily scroll view the entire galaxy just to make sure they all didn't get clustered in some corner.

I'm playing on largest galaxy possible (as I always do). I should be able to simple "see" the L-cluster on the galactic map at game start, right? It's simply not there. I don't get it.

L gates only spawn in Black hole systems.
However if you zoom to far out on the galaxy map it will not show you Gateways and other mega structures. So you need to keep a medium zoom and slowly pan across the galaxy.

I know. I'm saying I should be able to verify if L-cluster exists at game start by simply looking at the top right hand corner of the galaxy, right? It's not there. Am I remembering something incorrectly?

No. The cluster only appears after someone activates the Lgates.

Honestly, in my three or four recent games whenever I've opened an L-gate (or other empire did) the L-cluster was empty or inhabited by strange, powerfull empire. I almost can't recall when I had chance to put my hands on Tempest.

I know certain things won't trigger and show on the map until those conditions are met, the chances are on discovery of the first L gate you'll likely see those systems show up outside the galaxy.

yeah, I know that we have 1st of April Today, but really. They have some 20 fleets, each around 30k as far as I remember and contact with them is limited (like with FE - but they only talk about themselves with very few details and asking too many questions may lead to war).

the last time i had a chance to go into the L cluster it was empty, almost barren of resources aside from a lot of exotic resources that can be harvested.

I think - didn't make notes - but in my recent games I had two cases with empty L-cluster and two with "prank" empire. Which is funny, becaue before I always had Tempest there, I think in every single attempt.

There is no truely empty L-Cluster. There are Grey Tempest, Grey, empire and babies.
However, what we find in the cluster and what we can do with it, depends on those outcomes, on random, and whether we are the first opener.
