Man... several thousand in army points is a generalization for taking down these suckers. When I did it the first time I invaded to retake the planet with like 3k whilst multiple reinforcement armies between 300-700 were en route. Without those reinforcements that would have been a failed siege. Even as a lithoid race.
Edit: My apologies for going off topic. Was searching through forum for whether the dragon babies can mature into stronger babies; saw this and figured to give tips on finding living metal to create the dragonspawn in the first place.
