(spoilers) Life Signs anomaly: Cool Thoughts event

I got the Life Signs anomaly on a frozen planet, and savescummed it a few times. Most of the time it resulted in a special project: mount a deep sea expedition, but maybe 20% of the time I get a result I can't find on the web at all: an event titled "Cool Thoughts". It is giving me 5 choices. One gives a large amount of physics research. One gives about half that amount of society research, one gives me +1 Yuht artifact (I have yuht precursors) one gives me 1500 unity, and one adds 4 engineering research to the planet.

What I'd like to know is if I must take the yuht artifact to complete that chain. I'm at 5/6 Yuht artifacts, and dont want to permanently lose the last one if this is the only chance for it. I'm not playing ironman, but still I won't know what I'm missing on this one for a long time it seems.

Anyone seen this before? Is it unique to yuht or is that choice just always filled in with +1 artifacts of whatever kind you need if you need any?

You don't need to take the Yuht/precursor artifact from that anomaly, you'll get a random event that spawns an artifact every 20 years so long as you haven't discovered a new one in that time. Other empires will randomly sell artifacts for 1000 energy credits. You can use 25 minor artifacts to generate a new precursor artifact in the artifact screen.
