Why does my fleet power just heavely drops
my fleet has a normal start of 2.5k and sudently when an ennemy attacks me in my terretory, my powers just gets cut to 1k and my ennemy just gains power of behing to 1.8k to 3.2k and in battle i was looking why and saw that all my ships hase a shop modification that causes my ships to loose 60% of weapon domage and to loose 75% of shield hitpoint, for some reason it allway does when i fight any ennemy fleet in my own terretory, just cause of that im allway loosing because there is just no way i cant get over, even tried to get way over my cappacity but even that the ennemy just gets way over me. it gets just impossible to win

Mods? A couple of the 'More Beautiful Space Battles' mods actually give a flat -x0% fire rate to all in-combat fleets in order to make the 'beautiful' battles last longer.

Alternatively, the only vanilla factors I can think of are fighting in a system with an effect (such as Pulsars, that disable shield). That, and Jumpdrive / Titan auras, but with ~3k fleetpower you're not anywhere near those techs.
Are you in an energy deficit with nothing in the stockpile?

well i have not installed a tons of mods,only 10, and im sure none of them are big changing mods maybe the NSC season 6 but i dont think its a game breaker, because it wasnt any Pulser in a system or anything, because i fleed attacked a station next to my spawn sector and when i did enter with my fleet of 2.5k as my ennemy had 2k at first and i was like "Lets try" then for a sudent before entering in combat i see that i have 1.7k as i saw tried to retreat but got catched in combat and well loss me entire fleet with it attacked my main sector, its only that that every time i was fightinga fleet, even a station was no change allway a fleet

Honestly in that sit rep I would pump out minerals and motes (those turd looking things) and probably hire the mercenaries to chip them down.
There is also mods that can help clear up that situation too.
I see you have played allot like me so I am confused really lol :steamhappy:
1. my setting are nothing of huge change
2. im using 10 but mostly ui and graphic changing with NSC season 6 mod
3. i own all only ancien relics and the aqua dlc
i maybe have a lout of hours but i got a maybe 2-3 years break so im like back as a beginner XD mainly the problem is allway that i fought the ennemy fleet, my fleet power went down, no because those sector aura or stuff, like, i just spoted the ennemy ready to fight, so charged and like right before the battle saw my ship power went down, well i wanted to retread back to my sector but got catched in the battle and defeated twice because the ennemy was right next to my main sector, so the got into my main refight my fleet and demoliched it, so yea just a huge TRIGGERED for me

He means your energy resource stock for your country (little electric bolt). If you hit 0 with a deficit you suffer massive penalties; most of them combat related for energy.

Could be your culprit in that case, or alloys (little pink/purple bars) which also cripple your military if you run out

Note some things also alter your fleet power. For instance station buildings and/or home sector/defensive war bonuses.

Titans can also do bonuses or penalties on other players fleets.

These all will manifest with fleet effects.

Are you certain your fleet power only plumetted when your enemy arrived and not when you jumped into the system?
Some systems have an Ion storm or something going on which nullified shields.

Enemy fleet could one shot your big ships if you equipped them poorly. Try to spy on enemy ships and build at least one ship desing to counter them. Build your fleet with ships of all kinds too. Corvets have really good evasion and hit continuously when more than half of your corvets perish on your fleet its time to heal and reinforce. Destroyers are bigger and tankier, doesn't have big evasion rates but they are more powerful. good to take out early starbases. Cruisers are for medium impact, i produce like 10 of them at max per fleet. Battle ships are the backbone of your fleet PRODUCE A LOT. One titan is enough per fleet.

But does nothing to shields. Must be multiple effects here if jumping is involved though I doubt either side has jump drives given the fleet power is around 2-4k
