Be Freed or Stay Slave?

Hi Hi!

I have a question. Cuz i find no answer in the game. And not sure about that tho. If my nation have banned slavery, and Xenophile, and against any creature right breaking behaviour, like Slave trade.

So, if when i bought slaves from the market that means they are be freed when arrive in my nation right? Or they get enslaved here also?

For me it sounds logical they be freed, but Paradox have huge paradoxes in their mind and thousands of times they prove to us, meaningless how something logical and reasonable, for them, its works differently.
So?

Anybody can answer to me please? Pretty Please??

I would if i can. But the game not telling me any info about which empire capture slaves and put them in the market. Or if you know any method to get info about it, tell me please.

Get the Ban Slave Trade resolution passed and they should show up as in-breach of the resolution.
Otherwise, only Authoritarian and Xenophobe empires can have the rights set - and some of these outright state they're "Slaving Despots".
That said, their greetings dialogue can be kind of hilarious, depending on which one it is ("must, simply *must* have one at home").

One thing that wasn't mentioned yet is the pop you free gets a happiness modifier - just as if you had conquered the planet and freed them that way.

Agri worlds, Hydrophonic stations help you out you know? Normally, any games what i play i trade with food because greatly overproduced it. And this is how i buy strategic materials. Zro or Dark matter. But for dark matter i often build the matter decompressor. With Gigastructural, i can even ten times overproduce my food income.

Yes i saw them already. ANd its can be good a lot. Especially with a conquered planet.

Never played with slavery but this patch changed my play behaviour, to your question, all depends on what you did set for rules for that certain species you buy, if slavery is forbiden so I assume you can't set a rule wich includes slavery, so stuff turns into basic rules wich is ->citizenship

Abduction doesn't require slavery. If you're authoritarian you can pick Nihilist Acquisition as well. You keep the bombarding stance once you drop authoritarian.

My approach is to start as ultra spiritual authoritarian Corporation, then spec into ultra xenophile spiritual. Now I can raid, they become free citizens and end up eaten.

Well, while i read all of these raid and abduction lines. I just keep thinking, to me the Free Heaven and Direct Democracy, with Xeno-Compatibility and all xeno are welcome mentality, cause a ten times, twenty times bigger immigration pull compared your hostile way. And i didnt even need to do anything for it. So turn back to the question of the topic. Slavery not worth, and even bad thing. I already get the answer to my question. So thankies. I am sure now i am perfectly fine and faaar more succesful with my strategy than you guys with your hostile and evil ways.

Beat infinite scaling domestic servant with pleasure seekers. Watch as the slaver laugh cries while the gestalt struggles to make half the amenities.

Laughing even harder as he gets 50% happiness with amenities just as the gestalt with a slave. While also paying amount of good that might as well be non exsistant.

I do agree that you can play non slaving. You can use immigration to benefit largly.

BUt to be serious. Some first contact funny. Especially when you play as a Hive Minded devouring swarm and the first cretin you meet greet you as a "Hello Xeno friend, we seek peaceful live together" :D

Pleasure seeker? Wait is some civic ethic or something. I am sure i saw this in the game somewhere. What that Pleasure Seeker stuff does? Never know what is that does exactly.
