What does "crises=2" mean?
Been waiting for the the end-game boogaloo for a while now but nothing has happened, haven't played in ages but I am guessing crises can still roll not to happen at all?

Anyway, checked the save file and it's all different to how I remember it, so I figured I'd come to the heart of all wisdom: the steam forums. All I can find is this mystifying "crises=2" line which I am guessing that means 'no crisis' or something?

What year are you at, and what was the endgame date?

The default is 2400. What year are you in?

no such thing as no crisis, unless you actively turn it off (crisis strength slider all the way left)

I'm guessing you misclicked as default endgame is 2400, if you set it to 3400, yeah, it'll be a long wait for ya
even if the endgame year is default 2400, it can still take a long time for the endgame crisis to spawn (there's no jumpdrives/many synths modifier to the chances anymore, all 3 have 33% chance) and unless you get Unbidden (which can spawn at any moment from endgame date) they usually take 30 to 50 years from the endgame date to spawn

Seeing as the crisis is randomly rolled every year or something, it's technically possible to not get it for a very long time after the first possible date.

Especially if he accidentally added a extra 1000 years before it even starts rolling.

Or you can get unlucky and have the buggers spawn twenty years after the endgame year when you're already in the middle of a War in Heaven. That was a FUN playthrough. :P

To quote Hagrid, "Oi should not 'ave said that."

Of COURSE the Unbidden come screaming out of a portal in 2380 right after the Doctrinal Enforcers wake up and three years later the Watchful Regulators awake having picked the other Awakened Empire as the Ancient Rival.

In the middle of a Crisis, the War in Heaven has begun.

I left xeno compatibility on by mistake and had to quit because of lag so problem solved.
