hmmm, okay well I am playing vanilla and the sector AI as built according to what I wanted produced in the planet, it appear a mod is bugging the sector AI
Do you have mods installed? --------> Yes --------> its a mods fault
yes, you are right. When i change my energy income to positive value - AI begun to autobuild...
But... This is annoying... but this is paradox and how they works, ok.
Thank you!
Automation does not invest on its own. It takes resources to make the balance better. It will not use the resources to make even bigger red numbers.
If automation can not build anything suitable it will build nothing. Like when you have slaves all over the place while no buildings suitable for slaves can be constructed.
Also automation will not fix riots. If the planet is in disarray and revolution then automation will do no good.
The usual scenario in this forum is some authoritarian militarist maniac running his empire into the ground, then expecting automation to magically fix it.
Nowhere in game or tutorial are written, that automation need positive energy income. This is totally absolutely counterintuitively and useless. For buildings it is need only mineral in present. I have many minerals (more than 4k). In what reason automation must stop to produce buildings? Why only energy negative income prevent automations? Why not food or even mineral negative income stop automation? This is not what i expect from automation on. I order it to build buildigs, so it must build buildings if they have enough mineral. I not order them to "think". If i will see that my economy can be damaged by uncontrolled building - i will stop automations, and manualy repair economy.
