I can´t play this game anymore.
MagaCorp ruined everything.

I hate the new planet system. You can´t manage your planets anymore. The only thing you can do is build some building... but you need population. And if the buildings are a higher tier you need... strategic ressources. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ resource chains. Always is something missing. Imagine building 5 buildings just to maintain 3 other. Imagine you have 3 planets with very high population and some random pathethic MegaCorp ruins it. 0 stability everytime i play this game. Oh right... u can build buildings to prevent that. Like u have unlimited amount of building slots and population grows with the speed of light (299.000 km/s). This is not a game anymore. It´s just pure pain. One pathetic megacorp on the other side of the galaxy can ruin everything in a few seconds. You can´t even attack them if your nightbours have closed borders to you.
I have oever 1.200 hours in this game and i really like it but since megacorp it´s not funny to play.
I´m done with this piece of ♥♥♥♥ game...

u need to micromanage the hell out of this, always needing more pop u can kind of get the buildings then u need to keep micro managing the pop and changing what jobs there doing as the game continues it improves a bit but its a hell of a grind

1) Roll back to 1.9 and disable DLCs from Apoclypse on
2) find some of the cool mods that are still out there that address issues like useless spaceports that die if the enemy comes within 3 systems
3) ...
4) profit

3.0 unlinked buildings from pops and reduced the micromanagement(not that what we had was bad)

1.0 is only true version of Stellaris, every single patch after that sucked very soul out of the game.

i just cant imagine how people can play game without particle lances on destroyers...

If you're referring to criminal megacorps, just build buildings that produce jobs that reduce crime, like Enforcers or Telepaths. Keep your planet at 0 crime for long enough, and the crime branch will close down.

You can manage pops easily enough. Pops will promote themselves to a higher tier job if it's available, so if you can't afford to lose those Worker pops, don't provide unnecessary Specialist or Ruler jobs. Otherwise, you can set which jobs your pops prefer in the planetary management menu, if you have multiple jobs of the same economic stratum.

As for your issue with strategic resources, just buy them off the market or from a Trader Enclave if you have no better way to produce them.

Really, it just seems like you need to watch a tutorial on the new mechanics you have missed since you last played. Most of your issues seem to stem from not knowing that certain mechanics exist, rather than those mechanics being bad.

Just revert back to the last patch the supported the tile system then? what about disabling the MegaCorp DLC altogether if they're an issue? simple problems have simple answers but someone with your supposed "experience" somehow can't figure it out.

Also in the 15ish games I've played I've never had a criminal MegaCorp ever spawn for some reason, idk why.

MegaCorps will still spawn, if you don't have MC dlc bought/enabled. You just can't play one.

Oh thanks, good to know but still the TC must have bad luck if criminal MegaCorps are spawning in so many games he's played.

Criminal MC are the worst, even one is a maijor pian in the tuches:steamhappy:
But razorblade is correct, at least acording to dev diaries, branch offices should be removed if planet has 0 crime for a long time.

The game was much better when they had the old planetary and pop system not to forget ftl, they have completely ♥♥♥♥♥♥ the game over.

The New Bombardment system is also not great, you can find hundreds of posts complaining about it, like Paradox care anyway.

Should Paradox care about some random with over 15 years of buying their products, 10k+ posts on their official forums, and 85+ forum/ownership badges? Because that's me and I completely agree with everything Natasha had to say about Stellaris.

I am an absolute noob, but I almost never seen a planet of mine with stability below 50 unless it has been conquered recently or got hit by crime events.

If you don´t want to see Criminal Megacorps in your games, than built your own empires, put them on "force spawn" and make enough of them that there is no room for criminals to spawn.

Not sure about your "build 5 buildings to maintain 3" thing, one crystal producing building gives you 3 crystals, which powers 3 crystal buildings. Or you just buy them on the market for some energy.
