engineered evolution vs flesh is weak

as per3.03 which one is better?
this is an open-ended question, vague by design, would you mind explaining why evo is better than fiw, viceversa?

Synthetic evolution is the best ascension type in the game (and was completely overpowered pre 3.0.3 if you kept the pop growth decreases) but even Cybernetic is still good enough to use for the entire game since you can still produce robots along with your normal pops.

Both bio and psionic ascension require the two perks to have full access and can be decent but it takes a lot more work to benefit from them.

As an aside I made a blunder in my current game by going for bio ascension instead of cybernetic because I forgot I needed evolutionary mastery to remove and swap positive traits and realized it too late.

Economy-building is a big part of it. Which one gives your Empire the biggest boost for the buck? (if you're Materialist, probably "The Flesh Is Weak")

And also there's a roleplay thing. Do you want to be a genetically engineered race, or bots?

Engineered Evolution is good on Hives(and also because it's the only one they have access too) otherwise you are better off with synthetic ascension.

But it doesn't really matter if you are playing on single player since the AI is just so bad at managing it's economy.

Not 100% sure, but I believe engineered evolution is superior when it comes to highly specialised authoritarian empires. With a fair bit of micromanaging you can make it better.

But for all other cases flesh is weak is better.

There's no question that synth is the strongest ascension right now. It's completely busted. Bio got nerfed but is still decent. Psionic has always been a gacha joke but IMO has the most interesting flavor.

Synth's are OP robots who can live anywhere and be 100% productive at all times

Bio is alright, nice traits, lots of micromanagement

And Psi has always been "lol, you actually PAID 2 perk slots to get random debuffs?!"
