[Solved]Checksum mismatch between launcher and multiplayer interface, with no mods enabled
# Solution
This problem has been solved.

You're just removing the stuff that's working and leaving the stuff that isn't.
By the following way my friend has solved the problem!
- Unsubscribe all mods
- Uninstall Stellaris
- Delete all files in the Stellaris folder
- Reinstall Stellaris
Thank Elitewrecker for providing the solution :)
# Background
One of my friends and I tried to play Stellaris with several mods, and we stuck by mismatch of checksum. We checked the following ways for about 2 hours,
- Our versions available at launcher dashboard are
- Butler v2.8.1(dfce), launcher 2020.16
- Butler v2.8.1(dfce), launcher 2020.11
- Check and ensure mod lists that are of the same contents and order
- Verify game file integrity
- Delete "/Paradox Interactive/Stellaris/*", restart Stellaris and ensure "dlc_load.json" and "game_data.json" are the same by covering one's with another's
- Reinstall Stellaris
None of these ways, which are the ways I have found in the community. As a last try we disabled all the DLCs and mods, and checked the checksums in the multiplayer dashboard. All went well with my checksum on multiplayer dashboard, reading (dfce). Nevertheless, that of my friend's was (e446), with no mods or DLCs, launched by a program whose version shown at the launched dashboard was (dfce).

# Issue
Under what situation can a checksum of Stellaris main program differ between launcher dashboard and multiplayer interface when NO MODS OR DLCS ARE ENABLED?
And, if possible, how to solve the problem?

Thank you for your patience, and I will appreciate if you reply, whether the problem is solved.

# Situation Log Updated
##
Further situation see Reply #2.
Link to the mod list is listed here

However, as this issue happens under the situation that no mods are enabled and the main program is fully uninstalled and installed in another disk when all mods are unsubscribed, I am not optimistic about it solving the issue...
##
It seems that the term "checksum" is more accurate.

Make a collection of all the mods you want, unsubscribe of all of them, check the workshop folder for leftovers.

In fact before I read your reply, I have just talked with my friend and she told me that she had unsubscribed mods, fully uninstalled Stellaris and even reinstalled it in a different drive[1], but the checksum remained different from (dfce)...

Thank you for your reply!
